Silver Plated Bronze Happy Buddha Charm. "I teach one thing and one only: that is, suffering and the end of suffering." - Buddhist saying.
Budai is traditionally depicted as an obese, bald man wearing a robe and wearing or otherwise carrying prayer beads. He carries his few possessions in a cloth sack, being poor but content. He is often depicted entertaining or being followed by adoring children. His figure appears throughout Chinese culture as a representation of contentment.
Our bronze is imported from Italy and is a high quality alloy of copper and tin. Our Thai bronze has an anti-tarnish compound mixed into the metal alloy that will delay but not eliminate eventual oxidation.
